Being referred to as one of the funniest shows in British TV history is quite an accomplishment considering how many stellar English comedies have made it on the air, but RISING DAMP deserves it. Now here`s the feature film based on the hit series, written by the show`s creator Eric Chappell. Winner of multiple awards, the film captures all the hilarity of the boarding house where the only thing not found under the roof is normal behavior. Many of the original cast members--such as Frances de la Tour and Leonard Rossiter--bring back their lovable and outrageous roles in this classic extension of the over-the-top series.
